Matt Carter-
When it comes to planning, organizing, and delivering innovative energy solutions for Hannah Solar, few understand the demands and challenges better than Matt Carter. The Williamson Georgia native works tirelessly to deliver quality products and services that truly reflect the company’s brand and commitment to excellence.
In his role as a Project Manager, Matt is one of Hannah Solar’s unsung heroes who “manages the unexpected”, leads various installation teams, and works behind the scenes to keep projects on track and within budget. He takes pride in getting the job done right and strives to motivate others to fully understand their purpose, remain focused, and exceed customer expectations.
Matt Carter credits his parents and friends for keeping him motivated to achieve success and leans on his wife for inspiration from time to time. He is an early riser and uses his quiet time to prepare himself and commit to the tasks of the day. Matt is an avid sportsman, a self-proclaimed “diehard Georgia Bulldog fan”, and models his work ethic after the late Kobe Bryant who was recognized by many as the hardest working athlete in the NBA.
In high school, he ran track, played basketball and football, but Matt’s desire and passion for baseball led to a scholarship upon graduation. Matt not only excelled at sports, but he also enjoyed the complexities of math and majored in Secondary Mathematics and Finance in college.
In his spare time, Matt enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, as well as, farming, wood working, fishing, hunting, and just about anything outdoors. He also loves traveling and hopes to someday visit the Colosseum in Rome, Italy.
He jokes that he has too many pets to name – including goats and chickens – but admits that he spends most of his time with his two dogs, Nellie and Dook, and cats Dottie and Malachi. Matt’s long-range plans include becoming a licensed electrician and perhaps a general contractor. When you consider the dedication in all facets of his life, there is little doubt Matt Carter will accomplish all that he believes he can.
