HP has committed to 100% renewable energy and is a member of the RE100 group of international companies that have made that commitment. When HP wanted to use solar to power its new data warehouse in Georgia, they called on Hannah Solar to provide full EPC services for their roof mounted system.
Hannah Solar designed, built, and installed a 350 kW solar array for the Hewlett – Packard data center in Suwanee, Georgia. The system generates an estimated 525,000 kWh annually and offsets all of the utility requirements of the front office operations. Hannah Solar installed the array for Hewlett – Packard as part of the company’s facility upgrade which was designed to further maximize energy efficiency and incorporate green renewable energy. HP engaged Hannah Solar to maintain and service the solar array to preserve the quality of the system and ensure maximum energy production.
