The City of Baxley, Georgia installed one of the first tracker systems below a MW in the Southeastern United States.
Baxley, GA took advantage of the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority’s low rate loan using a Federal program to fund a solar array that saves them money. The city chose Hannah Solar in a competitive bid to do the turnkey design build services for one of the very first tracker systems below a MW in the southeastern USA. Coupling the solar generation with changes to their pump time of use allowed the city to show an economic benefit immediately.
