Aflac customer service center in Columbus, GA completes a 173.4 kW solar addition.
Aflac partnered with Hannah Solar on a 173.4 kW solar system atop their customer service center in Columbus, GA. The installation wrapped up just in time for Aflac’s 10th Annual Earth Day event.
“The solar array shows the commitment Aflac has to doing things the right way,” said Vice President of Facilities and Green Committee Chair for Aflac, Alfred Blackmar. “We have reduced our energy usage by over 50 percent, and over 85 percent of the buildings Aflac owns and operates qualify for an Energy Star rating.”
Aflac’s 10th Annual Earth Day event is being held April 22, 2017. The event hosts several vendors (including Hannah Solar) who come together to share their sustainable knowledge with the Aflac community.
